Bible Classes

The heart of Riverwood is our well-organized Sunday School and Wednesday evening  Bible study program. Extra care has been taken to provide facilities and materials to  encourage learning and spiritual growth at every age level. From our Sunday evening  Children's worship to our "Ladies Only" class, we provide classes for every age and  interest.

Youth Activities

Riverwood has a wonderful, active youth group that is striving to draw closer to each  other and to the Lord. Devotionals, activities, classes, and times of fellowship are all  part of our youth program.

Community Outreach

Provisions have been put in place by our Benevolence Committee to provide assistance for those in need of food, clothing, and/or financial aid. We are looking for opportunities  to serve our neighbors who have special needs and to teach more about the love of Jesus.

Love Bears

Our ladies were featured on local TV for their distribution of "Love Bears" to the children at Memorial Hospital's emergency room.

Inner City Ministry

Every Tuesday night during the school year, we have Bible studies for Nashville's inner city children. The children and teachers are very encouraged by the results.

Room in the Inn

We provide shelter, beds, clothing, and food for homeless men throughout the cold months. We share this responsibility with other churches in the Nashville area.

Women's Ministry

Our ladies send cards to visitors, welcome baskets to new members, and care boxes to our college students. They also send cards to our shut-ins.

Young At Heart

Just because we are getting older is no reason not to have fun. This group plans activities on a monthly basis for fun and for spiritual growth.
