I think of prayer in the same way as we learn to know and love others. If

you have friends, you typically interact with them. The longer you know them the

more comfortable you are being with them. You become closer with them and

put aside their shortcomings.

I think it applies the same in our prayer life. The more you pray the more

comfortable you become in talking to God. The more you get to know Him,

through His Word. The more personable you can be with Him. Thanking Him for

everything. Asking for direction. Praying for others and yourself in the good, the

pain, and the healing. We in turn reciprocate that love in our daily lives. Sharing

our love with others who hopefully see Him in our daily lives. So become stronger

in your daily walk and ask Him to help you in every step. He loves you. Love Him

back. That is all He asks from us.

Psalm 23:1-6
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You annoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever."
